The new 4X CREE range are our brightest range of halogen replacement spots. The 4X Cree spots use a single chip CREE LED with four individual dies. Similar in
construction to our 2X Cree lamps, the single point light source allows for a wider angle light output that is more consistent with traditional halogen spots.

The market is full of LED downspot lamps of poor quality build, and poor reliability. Many stockists have inaccurate information about the performance of their lamps, claiming light outputs equivalent to 20 or even 50 watt halogens
Only Ideal's 4X CREE offer light levels equal to or greater than 35 watt halogen spot, and as an industry first it will match a 35 watt dichroic MR16 spot. Our 4X CREE spots produce lux levels as high as 900 lux at 1 metre with an equivalent of the industry standard 36 degree beam angle, making it a true replacement for 35 watt GU10 or MR16 spots.

Applications
These high output lamps are direct replacements for 20 and 35 watt halogen downlights, so are ideal for use in the home or business in current halogen downlight fittings. In many circumstances they make good replacements for 50 watt halogens, with no drop in light level for 50 watt GU10's and an acceptable drop in light level for a 50 watt dichroic MR16. Our 4X Cree's are not to be compared against cheap or first generation LED products - they are significantly brighter and produce far more effective illumination.
The low UV and IR radiation properties of LED lamps also makes them perfect for:
- Museums
- Art galleries
- Cosmetic counters
- Perishable food counters
The exceptionally long life spans make these lamps perfect for hard to reach places where maintenance costs are high. Just swap the bulb out and forget about changing it for 15 years*
