Our new range of LED T8 Tubes are fluorescent replacements designed to work with either a direct connection or for use in existing switch start / magnetic ballast systems.
Through the use of high efficiency LEDs and a lumen efficiency of over 100 lumens per watt, our LED tubes produce intense levels of light for less than half the power of a traditional fluorescent tube.
Features
• Efficient power supply - other LED tubes are unregulated and run the risk of premature failure with fluctuating mains input. These LED Tubes have been
specifically modified to both withstand transients (spikes) and varied supply input.
• Real world Luminous Flux Testing - Comparative testing has been done against standard T8 Fluorescents with the results showing acceptable drops in effective light levels and an increase in effective light with certain models.
• Aluminium Housing- effectively removes the heat from the LED array, extending life-span and reliability
• Fully Rotatable End Cap - 0 - 360° to accommodate for any T8 Tube Fitting
Compatibility
Our LED tubes are compatible with the vast majority of luminaries with G13 push through holders.
The tubes are designed to run directly off the mains, however they are compatible with the majority of magnetic ballasts and require a simple removal of the starter.
Electronic ballasts will need to be bypassed / removed.
